    The Wheatstone bridge (also known as the single-arm bridge) is an instrument that can accurately measure resistance. The universal Wheatstone bridge resistors R1, R2, R3, and R4 are called the four arms of the bridge. G is a galvanometer, which is used to check whether there is current in the branch where it is located. When no current passes through G, the bridge is said to be balanced. When balanced, the resistance values ​​of the four arms satisfy a simple relationship, which can be used to measure resistance. Wheatstone bridge The Wheatstone bridge is a bridge circuit composed of four resistors. These four resistors are called the arms of the bridge. The Wheatstone bridge uses changes in resistance to measure changes in physical quantities. The microcontroller collects the voltage across the variable resistor and processes it to calculate the corresponding changes in physical quantities. It is a very accurate measurement method.

    Unbalanced bridges are generally used to measure small changes in resistance values. For example, a resistance strain gauge (a resistance wire made into a grid and pasted between two layers of thin paper or plastic film) is glued to an object. When the object is deformed, the strain gauge also deforms. The resistance of the strain gauge changes from Rx when the bridge is balanced to Rx+â–³R. At this time, the current Ig passing through the galvanometer will also change. â–³R can be measured based on the relationship between Ig and â–³R, and then the deformation of the object can be calculated based on the relationship between â–³R and solid deformation.
    This method can be used to measure strain, tension, torque, vibration frequency, etc.
