First Calibration anvil is an inspection tool for calibrating hammers such as concrete, mortar and brick.

Second, the parts of calibration anvil are made of high-quality steel and high-quality tool steel. The mating surface of the anvil core and the anvil body [Morse taper No. 4] is finely ground, and the hardness of the anvil core surface is HRC58-62.

Third, the Steel anvil  is generally placed on a horizontal plane to calibrate theconcrete test hammer, and the hammer is vertically downward to perform a flick test to calibrate the rate of the hammer. Fourth, as an inspection tool, the anvil core and the anvil body can be ground flat and reused after being bombarded for 5000-8000 times, but the hardness of the anvil core still needs to be maintained at HRC58-62, otherwise it cannot be used again.

Fifth, the steel anvil is usually kept in a dry and dust-proof place to prevent rust, and the bombardment test surface shall not be bumped at will to ensure the standard state of the inspection tool.

Instructions for the use of Calibration anvil method

Before and after the engineering inspection, the hammer test shall be subjected to a calibration test on the steel anvil, and shall meet the above requirements. The rebound tester calibration test should be carried out under the conditions of dryness and room temperature of 5°C to 35°C. When the rate is fixed, the anvil should be placed firmly on the rigid object. When determining the rebound value, take the average value of the stable rebound value of three consecutive downward bounces. The lever should have four rotations, preferably 90° each. The fixed average value of each rotation of the lever should be 80±2.
