Resistance box is a type of resistor. It is made up of several fixed resistors with different resistance values connected in a certain way. The fixed resistors in the resistance box are generally wound with constantan and manganese copper wires, so that the resistance value does not change with temperature. There are two types of resistance boxes used in laboratories: plug type and switch type (also called cylinder type).
Working Principle
The resistance box is a variable resistor device that uses a conversion device to change its resistance value. This conversion device usually adopts a decimal disk (knob) structure, and can also adopt a plug-in type and terminal button structure as needed. The circuit of the resistance box can be divided into a series circuit and a series-parallel circuit.
